Will ERGs Survive the DEI Backlash?
Sorry this took so long. I spent yesterday getting a lot of my thoughts together and a good chunk of of today in meetings talking about this same topic over and over and over again.
To answer the question,
I'm actually not nervous about the changes…for some ERGs. I don't have it in me to sugarcoat today.

I think after reflecting a bit, I think what I would tell you is that right now your CEO, your executive team, and your company’s board might have a misconception in why your ERG program exists. So now is a perfect time to reposition it as an employee engagement strategy a cohort community-based internal marketing strategy, aka strategic employee engagement program. There might also be some basic work in the foundation of your ERG program that needs reworking (documentation for instance).
