Give 1️⃣0️⃣ Times More Value Than What You Ask For 🏆

Hey Champs,

This one’s for all my ERG leaders out there—let’s get into it.

Here’s the secret sauce (and normally, I only share this in my Increasing ERG Engagement workshop—yes, the most popular one👀):

👉🏿 For every one thing you ask from your community, give them 10 times the value

If your channel is just “Sign up for this event!” or “Fill out this survey,” you’re missing the mark. Big time. ERG communication channels are the lifeline of your community, and when they’re reduced to a digital flyer board, engagement plummets.

This year, I had a massive “aha moment”—like, the kind that gives you clarity for the whole next year. It hit me:

One of the biggest problems with ERGs today is that we don’t know how to facilitate community.

We lack the best practices, the structures, the facilitation skills, and even the tools to create meaningful connections - assuming that just because we identify with a community/care about a community that we inherently have the community skill. 🙄

But the good news? When you do build a strong community, the ROI of the program becomes obvious.

In 2025, we’re going all-in on community building. More best practices. More structure. More focus.

My Ask

I hope this year’s newsletters, post, and live sessions have brought you value. Today, I’m sharing what The ERG Movement offers—because honestly, a lot of you have asked, “What exactly do you do?” (Plus I think I’ve more than hit the 10 to 1 ratio)
